  • New Weetabix Packaging...anyone else noticed?

Has anyone else found it funny how Weetabix now have boxes emblazoned with 'eat hot' on it? Loads of us have been doing that for generations. It was only in the faddy early 2000's that they decided to try and turn it into Rivita and suggest creme fraiche or other spreads atop a piece of Weetabix and fruit with it, or yogurt which I think is a disgusting combo as its only best served with hot or cold milk...

I remember the packets in the mid 1980's had the slogan on one side "Heat It, Brunch It, Spread It, Lunch It" with a set of 4 pictures.

I never tried any of those options, same with hot Ribena & Vimto.

I like it with just warmed milk. Had 3 at breakfast today. I like to wolf it down straight after the milks poured on top and soaked in so they still retain their shape. I don't really like it with too hot milk and its all mixed like porridge.

Hot weetabix is delicious! Can't do cold milk on weetabix.
Corn flakes are also good with warm milk. Mmmmmmmmm

Warm milk is lovely with Shreddies and Cornflakes, but it has to be cold milk on Weetabix for me.

Actually the weetabix can soak up the hot milk like a sponge and if there is not enough milk it can get sickening.

That's the annoying thing about Weetabix. I mean I don't mind them but they do soak up the milk too quickly. Too much milk and they go mushy. Not enough and they stay too hard. You're against the clock to obtain the perfect Weetabix moment.

I am a master at this. I love my Weetabix - or whatever own brand type I buy, I also like the chocolate Weetabix, to really enjoy them you need to sprinkle sugar on them before pouring the right amount of warm milk.

No, they are much smaller sized and even more brittle. I often find the own branded M & S and Sainsbury's ones taste much nicer and are a bit more larger than the actual Weetabix branded ones thesedays.
