  • The Indoor League

Does anyone remember the TV series "The Indoor League" from the 70s?

Pub games competitions, presented by cricket legend Tred Trueman.

Beer bellies, sideburns, long combovers etc... great.

Big fan of Indoor League here.
The whole thing is very much of it's era.
Highly entertaining with some truly talented 'indoor athletes'.

I remember watching this programme. I think it was shown on ITV? Memories are a bit vague after so much time.

Fantasy Football League had a thing for showing clips from Indoor League, especially some of the stranger pub games featured.

That rings a bell, Angliaknight. Hahahahaha you wouldn't see anyone smoking a pipe while presenting a programme now. The only games I can remember are bar skittles and table football. It apparently ran from 1972 to 1977 so must have been popular at the time.
