I used to be confused by Walkers using blue for cheese & Onion, and green salt & vinager when other makes used the opposite combination for their crisp packets.

Odd. I ate loads of crisps as a kid, in that Era, but just can't remember ever seeing Chipitos or Smokees

I loved both Chipitos and Smokees at this time, I'm surprised you don't recall them, Sixtyten.

Hello all, great forum and a great thread.

Well a quick story here if I may... a fellow work colleague (also a bit of nostalgia fan) told me of some recent demolition work near where he lives, he had a look around the area and spotted a number of vintage crisp packets among all the rubble one from as far back as 1968.
This got us thinking what else may have survived over the years and a little searching around the net led me to this site, so after a look around I thought I'd sign up and share his finds. The packets aren't in too great a shape but I hope you like them.

Yeah I remember them. If my memory serves me right, they tasted like chicken flavoured crisps that were past their sell/eat by date

                              Here's a picture of them
