Peach and hammer PIFs

Does anyone remember the series of advert length PIFs from the 70s showing someone not looking and listening when crossing the road. It always started with the accident happening and the impacted depicted by a hammer smashing a peach.

These PIFs frightened the hell out of me!

There used to be a poster in our local police station with the hammer and the peach as well...it used to fascinate me that it was both on TV and on a poster.

Although it was a parcel of mashed banana & jam,
With (I think) a cricket bat with a brick nailed to it !
