  • RIP Mary Tamm

It's just been reported that actress Mary Tamm, who played the original Romana in Doctor Who alongside Tom Baker, has died aged 62 after an 18 month battle with cancer. Following so soon after the recent death of Caroline John, who played Liz Shaw opposite Jon Pertwee's Doctor, this is turning out to be another sad year for the Doctor Who 'family'.

Some of us are at the age now where our heroes, film stars/pop stars of the 60's/70's/80's, are elderly and starting to die off Darren. Sad news, I remember her in Brookside as Barry Grant's bit of posh.
