Yeah, big fan of the Good Life here. Everyone played their parts beautifully.
Also Roobarb & Custard was awesome. Amazing theme tune.

        yes very good show shilts.
it ran from 84 to 89.

5 series with a total of 27 episodes.

i think this show and others are overshadowed because of the success he had with the good life.

one thing was true a lot of people had allotments thanks to the good life.

It's worth checking him out in 60s spy hokum Fathom.

It's really worth checking out Raquel Welch in 60s spy hokum Fathom

          PS

I will never forgive him for the theme song to Orm & Cheep. Never.

I found Ever Decreasing Circles wasn't as easy to get into the The Good Life, but I'm sure if I saw it again I would like it.

I've recently found (secondhand) an audiobook CD set of a dramatised version of P. G. Wodehouse's 'Carry On Jeeves' from 1973, in which Richard Briers played Bertie Wooster (with Michael Horden as Jeeves). He has that great, distinctive voice which most of us grew up with thanks to 'Roobarb & Custard'.

                  Hello everyone

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find season 2/series 2 of Richard Brier's TV show "The Other One" looking for my father he loves the show but has only been able to find season 1/series 1.

                  Appreciate any help

Ever decreasing circles was repeated on tv not so long ago - I really enjoyed it.
Martin was Richard's characters name (an obsessive busybody) and his wife Ann - Penelope Wilton (who went on to be in Doctor Who).
And who can forget Howard and Hilda in their matching jumpers

I have seen Paul Eddington and Felicity Kendall in the theatre, but not Richard Briers or Penelope Keith...
