  • 70's horrors

I thought id start a thread based on horror films of the seventies as there is one for the eighties.
im a huge fan of horrors from this decade.
what are the ones you remember not just the more well known ones but also the lesser more obscure ones.

perhaps add a brief description of what the film is about.

    cheers darren.

bewen watching lots of seventies horrors lately.

first one is killdozer from 74.
only lasts an hour and eight mins.
the bulldozer hits a mysterious piece of space rock and it then starts to drive itself and k*ll people.
          real good show.

I've got that, but I haven't seen it yet.

If you're talking about 70s horror, then George A Romero's the man.

Martin & The Crazies are both awesome, but in my mind, the greatest movie ever made is..................
Dawn Of the Dead ! (The original, not the 'remake').
I own more than 10 copies of this movie, that's how much I love it.
I reckon I must have seen it well over 100 times over the years.

and another one i watched is where have all the people gone.

the story goes that the sun starts acting acting off all these solar flares basically turns everyone to dust.

at the end one family survives.
as well as a few people they found.

but i agree with what u say about dawn of the dead mate.

Classic?. Like almost every video nasty, the controversy covered the fact that it was and is utter pants.
