i'm sure the music on the Amiga version would've been great, but i'm guessing the Mega CD version would have been even better, since the Mega CD was amazing at taking great 16-bit music and giving it the CD quality sound, all Megadrive games that were also on Mega CD, had way better music on the Mega CD

I always remember Rob Hubbards music for Sanxion. On their first megatape, ZZap! released a proper instrumental version of the Sanxion theme on the B-side of the tape.

Rob Hubbard could turn an average game into a memorable one with his music - example: The Last V8

Too right! Every Rob Hubbard tune was awesome.

I preferred him to Martin Galway, who was also good but Rob's tunes just seemed to call to me.

Strider has some of the most wonderfully atmospheric music I've ever heard in a game. Roaring is a beautiful tune and I love the crazy accordion sounds of Gravity Unusual. The slow organ music as you approach Grandmaster Meio is quite stunning and sets up the final fight perfectly.

I don't know much about computer games, but I do know I loved the soundtrack to Xenon 2.

I've constantly got the Mario music in my head cause the kids have it on the wiiu. Other than that I loved the music for 'duck shoot' on the Vic-20 my brother had.
