  • T V Shows you have never seen

Was talking with my friend recently who is a serious tele addict and he was reeling off all sorts of new series that he watches that Ive never seen and some Ive never heard of and he jokingly said "I suppose you have never heard of A touch of frost "

you should have seen his face when I said of course I have ..... but I've never watched it !

it was so funny to hear him " what never ..... not even one episode ...... surely you must have "????

It took me ages to convince him that I hadn't watched it ever

It got me thinking and I realised that there are a few long running/popular series that I have never watched

    Last of the summer wine

    mid summer murders

    Darling buds of may

not a single minute of a single episode of any of them and anyone I mention it to looks at me like i have some sort of mental problem

Anyone else got any they havent seen ?

Big Brother.... The concept alone seems idiotic, let alone the number of 'celebs' who have become famous from merely appearing on it. Of course, in that way that modern TV works, I can probably name ten people who started out on this programme even though i've never seen it...

i used to hate Friends back when it was in its first few seasons i thought the actors couldn't act for toffee and were so unfunny, it wasn't til the later seasons when i had it on TV when there was nothing else on that it actually started to make me laugh, not great by any means but has its moments.

there's tons of programmes i've never seen cos i don't watch alot of TV, but when it comes to the older stuff from the 80s and 90s, i've seen alot of it.

That would be most of the hit TV shows of the last twenty-five years. I've either never seen them or just one or two episodes at most. I'm just not a big TV watcher.

Friends has to be possibly one of the worst things ever filmed.

The Simpsons in its heyday was fantastic- Homer in particular, but it's gone on way too long. I watched an episode on Sky1 last week and it was awful.

Frasier was also a wonderful show, during its first 5 series especially - but I agree, Friends was very overrated.

Must admit I never watch BBC1 and haven't done so for a few years now, with the exception of Wimbledon (didn't realise they show news bulletins between some of the shows) so haven't seen anything new on there for years, unless visiting people who have it on.

Have also never watched A Touch Of Frost!

Frost, Midsomer, Lost, Downton, Simpsons, American Dad, Family guy, 24, True blood, Being human. I don't have a recording device of any kind and my schedule is such that I can't always remember to be in the same spot to watch an episode repeatedly for x amount of weeks. If theres something I fancy I tend to buy the box set and watch in bulk.
