  • Pogo Sticks

The newsagent/post office where I stop to get a paper in the morning has been selling pogo sticks for the last few months, i thought they went out of fashion in the 70's .

I had one but could never really 'master' it.........anyone else?

    Re: Pogo Sticks

A relative with younger kids than I was had one. I pogo'd all over their lawn and left it dented, much to the annoyance of my uncle who'd spent hours rolling it. I've never used one since!

Remember a friend having one and trying it a couple of times. I couldn't do it. Too much like hard work! Never saw my friend use it either.

I never had one, tried on a friends and could never do it try as i might.
However my kids are fantastic on them, my son can go for a good 15/20 minutes much to my amazement.

              Re: Pogo Sticks

I bought one from a car boot some years back, and it was well rusted up, so soaked it in graphited oil for a while and got it bouncing again!

It was a very old one, but had a mean spring in it, we used to boing round the yard with it, about 20 seconds was my bestest ever! (pathetic!)
