Remember being at senior school in the mid-late 70's when Play For Today was on a sunday night.
Never really took much notice, but one occasion we were told in assembly that our french teacher who was also a part time actress was going to be in a Play for Today the following sunday.
The play was "Double Dare" by Dennis Potter.
I told my family we must watch it to see miss xxxx on the TV.
Couldnt believe it when it came on . It was almost soft porn.Loads of sex scenes. I was horrified.
Very embarrassing for a 15 year old boy, especially in front of mum and dad.
Still get embarrassed thinking about it.
The thing is that in later years I realised that anything associated with Dennis Potter was bound to include sex to a certain degree.
