I only just discovered that it was a remake of an earlier show, which was in itself a spin-off from a movie.

tales of the riverbank never heard of it before.

i always found as a kid littlest hobo to be scary.

always felt sad when our canine hero had to leave those it helped.
it was time to get going again.

I thought The Littlest Hobo was complete rubbish and would always turn the TV off or over to another channel when it came on.

Never - LHOTP was QUALITY schmaltz and I owned the whole series on DVD at one point! Mrs Olsen was my heroine! (I loved it that Pa cried in every single episode)

I'm in the camp of being very familiar with the theme tune and titles but never having watched an episode, so I can't say whether it is good or bad. All those animal starring shows never really appealed so I used to switch over.

I have to politely, yet firmly disagree with that statement! The ultimate Canadian TV series to get over here must be the "Beachcombers".

Anyone else remeber that series Canadian Series or just me?

I always thought The Red Hand Gang was Canadian but looking on Wiki I notice it was American.

I liked that and did like The Littlest Hobo, but like many others the theme tune has stayed with me more than the series itself.

The various Degrassi shows were Canadian.
