Hong Kong Beat

During a 1978 edition of TOTPs on BBC4 last night they played the theme tune to a programme called 'Hong Kong Beat'.

Now I wasn't living in this country at the time and have never heard of it, but I thought the theam tune that I heard last night was great............does anyone remember watching the series when it was originally shown?

Nice, & very "unboingy" for a Denton & Cook theme.

I guess Clive Doig wasn't the producer, & they didn't get the normal memo giving permission to borrow the contents of the precussion cupboard.

Readers of TV Cream will understand this a bit better!

Nice tune, although I have never heard of Hong Kong Beat.
