          THE TWO CRANES GOLIATH AND SAMSON THAT HELPED TO BUILD THE TITANIC IN BELFAST.
          TO THINK A FEW AGO THEY WHERE THINKING OF DOING AWAY WITH THEM.

              The Beeb sent Anita McVeigh to Belfast to do some OB about the election (I think it was) and the H&W cranes were visible on the skyline - would be sacrilege to remove them!
              Time flies like the wind, fruit flies like bananas - go figure!

                General cargo ship, Rysum, at Port North Lochs, Briton Ferry. Taken today, being loaded with steel coil. The ship is sailing under the flag of, Antigua & Barbuda.

                        The Riviera Casino (now demolished). Some of the interior scenes of the movie "Casino" (1995) were filmed here. The Riviera was chosen as a shooting location because it still had an overall '70s look to it.
