  • Clothes from the past you would not wear today

What items of clothing you wouldn,t be seen dead in today

I once owned a red pvc mac which was fashionable around 1970 71ish which had big lapels large buttons large pockets on the front

You could have had a cap to match but I didnt bother.

Shell suit. I had a lime-green, white and black one with BOSS printed in big letters on the trouser leg. And it was a fire hazard waiting to happen....

All the neon things I had in 1989. I thought nothing of stepping out in pink socks, a striped pink t shirt, yellow blouse, multicoloured neon surfing shorts, a pink scrunchie and an armful of fluorescent friendship bracelets all at the same time.

I remember I had some very loud Burmuda shorts in 1988-9. Luckily I outgrew them fairly quickly.

Yes I recall being very proud of my bright lime green shirt with pink and grey cardigan combo in 1988.

I also had a pair of grey trousers with pink and green flecks running through them. Quite popular for a short time, no-one seems to remember them now.

Oh the shame! I was 10 and knew no better. Oxford bags and floral shirts with butterfly collars in the 70's.

it would be very un pc to wear a thing like that now.
id not wear a shell suit again.

wore them all the time back in the eighties.

In the early '90s, I had a couple of long-sleeve shirts with lurid patterns that could strip paint. I wouldn't dare wear anything as lairy these days.
