  • OO Wake Doo Waka Day Revival - What Do You Think?

What do you all think of that advert that has revived Gilbert O'Sullivan's early seventies hit, "OO, Waka Doo Waka Day"? I loved that song when I used to listen to it on the radio way back when I was a little'un - but then again, I loved everything that Mr O'Sullivan did. He certainly had the X Factor!

His 1975 hit, "I Don't Love You, But I Think I Like You" was another another big favourite of mine.

I liked his stuff from the early 80s. Some of his lyrics could be quite sharp and acerbic couldn't they? I watched an early 80s concert of his on YouTube (since removed) and it was really good - just him and a piano and some really clever and melodic songs.

The only 80's song I remember from him was "What's In A Kiss".
