Anyone recall a french horror/thriller about two girl cyclists and a scarecrow??

Hi all,

I'm trying to find the name of a film for a friend.

They say it's a french horror film from 15-20 years ago (maybe more, I can't remember) about two young girls. They cycle across a field where they spot a scarecrow who comes to life (or his eyes move, at least)!

There's also a caravan which the girls go to. It's there they get brutally murdered. (Sound's jolly doesn't it.)

Apparently, she found it riveting!!

Any ideas??

Yes, it sounds like this film, I watched it a couple of years ago.

I think the scarecrow was the policeman's father,standing in a field watching.
