Sapphire and steel, any of the old Dr Who's with special preference for Tom Baker who I had the privilege to meet once at a book signing. One love of my distant past was Gnoard from the Adventure Game.
Here's a picture of her next to the great Rango who for some reason in a grumpy mood changed himself into the dragon form that would of normally been Gnoard's. Yep all of the main characters had their own dragon type forms in the original first series. Gnoard was played by Chairmain Gradwell.

Remember when he disappeared? - was on the news, but I can't remember when it was.

Sadly, it seems like he didn't have as happy a time as his character in later years.

                      From Wiki....

In the 1980s, he suffered from manic depression and other mental problems, because of a lack of work and his vast debts. In 1987 he disappeared from his home in Leicestershire for five days; it later emerged that he had gone to Dublin intending to kill himself. He returned only after a public appeal from his wife. In 1995 he attempted suicide again, and was treated for carbon monoxide poisoning after being found slumped over the wheel of a car filled with exhaust fumes.
His last acting role was in the West End in Hobson's Choice early in 1996.[2] Grant then moved with his wife to Church End Twyning, about a mile south of Twyning, near Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. He lived very reclusively and neighbours would see him only when he was trimming his hedge.[3]
Grant was found dead in his garage inside his fume-filled car with a hose attached to the exhaust pipe in 2003. He was 71 years old.

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

Absolutely. The theme tune is my ringtone!

Charlie Fairhead in Casualty, still going strong I believe but I stopped watching it properly when it became a dumb soap opera.
