I just logged in to start this thread, such sad news, I read it on facebook so was just checking if it was true... loved blind date as a child and we always had Surprise Surprise on on a Sunday night. The recent film about her changed my view of her slightly (bit of a diva) but still very sad to hear she is no longer with us. RIP Our Cilla Taraaa chuck taraaa xx

What terribly sad news about Cilla Black passing away I think it would be accurate to describe Cilla was an all-round entertainer - Blind Date in the 1980s/1990s was "real Saturday Night TV" and Cilla made Saturday Night TV through Blind Date I feel - that was literally the time I was growing up and always has been an abiding memory I have held for years

As well too Cilla was an amazingly good Singer I thought - I loved all the songs Cilla sang. They just had that vibe somehow I felt/feel
