Vim and Vigour spring to mind. Does Ajax (not the football club) still exist?

Bio-Tex hasn't been advertised for years, and I saw it on the shelves of a Co-op over 10 years ago.

I suppose Jif doesn't count as it has just changed its name.

Are Surf & Tide washing powders still around?

My Mum used to use Whisk clothes washing liquid, which seemed to have gone by the early 1990s.

I was surprised to see Stardrops was still available, still looking like something from the 1950s.

Surf is still around in various fragrances. Tide is American.

Does anybody know if OMO is now the same formulation as Persil? They are both made by Unilever but are not sold together in the same country.

Reckitt's Blue is still around if you know where to look.

Carr, Day & Martin no longer makes shoe polish.

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

you can also get the liquid in bottles, but Airelators are no longer needed with it.

I remember my parents used to have a bottle of Dabitoff for removing stubbon stains like tar spots.

This was probably discontinused because it had something noxious in it.

                    Harpic powder?
I think there was a warning on the back of the white plastic cannister strongly suggesting that the product shouldn't be used in conjunction with other household cleaners.
I can remember an occasion when that advice was disregarded, the fumes were not pleasant!
