Australian Bush Movie

I remember when I was in the video rental place once and there was this movie on the shelf that was about an aboriginal man who was meant to have mystical powers or something. He wore next to nothing like a traditional aborigine, and I got the impression it might be an action movie of some sort. This would have been mid 90's or thereabouts. It looked like a real oddity. Whenever I try to think of the title I can't get past Bush Tucker Man! I know that's the foraging tv series, but it might have sounded like that. It looked pretty cheapo, and was probably rubbish, but it made me curious and I never saw it.
