Does anyone remember a TV show in the 1990s were 2 professionals would try out each other's jobs?

The one I remember had cartoonist for the Evening Standard Jak being a portrait painter, while an artist had a go at being a political cartoonist.

I have a vague recollection of the series, but can't remember much about it, not even the title. It was similar to an earlier series "In at the Deep End' in which a couple of the male 'That's Life!" presenters tried their hands at different jobs after a short period of training.

I knew it wasn't that, with Chris Serle trying different jobs.

Richard, your description of the programme where the two artists changed jobs stirred memories but I can't recall any of the other programmes in the series.
