No, I think she did a "Hilda Ogden" to her hair instead.

My late father's hair never went grey, and he never used Just for Men or anything like that - I have to say that it does give me optimism if I ever reach his age.

I didn't know that there were many different versions of it - when I ask for one, the hairdresser doesn't get confused and ask "which one?" so I have always assumed that there was only one of them.

In that case, it would be the hairstyle of a wig then.

If we are talking about facial hair, I might remedy that fact if I get that shaver for Christmas...

I told my barber that he should charge me less now as it takes him such little time these days. "Think of it as a search fee" said the cheeky git!

That's a good one. I'm afraid in a few years I would tell the exact words to my barber. But thanks to the lockdown I'm not planning to visit a barber and might get some hair length, by the way I found some haircare tips here. Okay, let me think... Many years ago I had long hair, mohawk, mullet... I guess many people had mullets at that time.

There was a time around 1983 when, as a 22-year-old guy, I developed a passing fad about going to Alan Paul and getting first a loose perm, and then a tight perm like Leo Sayer's. Nowadays, I can settle for just a skin head hair style.
