Yes he was 83 remember him as Napoleon Solo in the Man from Uncle,he also was in an episode of Columbo on a cruise ship

This is very sad news to hear/learn of Robert's passing, -

I recall being told over the years from my Mum about The Man from Uncle, though it was probably a bit before my time - so I never followed Robert's Career really at all in those days until a tad more in recent times

In Coronation Street as Milton as Roy's Mum's Boyfriend Robert was amazing I thought and would loved dearly to have seen more of his character - Robert was awesome alongside Sylvie as Roy's Mum - a real true match indeed

Very sad news about Robert's passing. Anyone remember him from "Battle beyond the Stars," a kind of Magnificent Seven set in space, where he played a similar character to the one he played in the classic western. RIP Robert.

The actress who played the amazon in Battle beyond the Stars was Austrian-born Sybil Danning. An enjoyable film with a very decent cast.
