i had a calculator when i was little in the shape of an owl, it was yellowy/ orange and wore a morta board, its killing me not being able to remember the name of it. hope someone else knows thanks

omg thank you, thank you,so much has done my head in all day. 1 of the girls in work had a quiz type thing printed from her pc of pictures of 70 old games and toys and you had to try and remember there names. helped out with alot but this 1 got me. once again ty

I had this old thing that you put in cards and pressed something and it gave you the answer, that's all i remember about it. It made a dinging noise too.

I think I know what you are talking about. It was a machine that was probably about 7 - 8" long x 3" in a red soft plastic wallet that had a flap that was done up on the front with a large popper, you unpoppered it and had access to the game. You put the cards (different topics) in the slot(?) or on top of the board and had 3 or 4 buttons to make a choice for your answer (must of been multiple choice answers to the questions from a different card or booklet), if you got it right I believe a green light come on, if it was wrong a red light came on and I think there was a dull buzzing noise. My husbands Nan bought it for us I believe in the early eighties, think I still have it somewhere. I will try and have a look for it.

just done a quick search on the internet and think I have found it. The casing looks a bit different, but is on USA ebay for $4. Think it goes by a slightly different name as well but the board looks the same.

Was it a detective game, we had Electronic Dectective.I love it, use to fight my big siter for a turn! again not for sale on ebay in this country( or I would place a bid myself)
