Actor Richard Hatch who played Captain Apollo on "Battlestar Galactica" died today in his home in Los Angeles after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 71.

Sad to hear. I always held out some hope of seeing him as Apollo again, long after it stopped being remotely likely.

RIP, thanks for giving us a great sci-fi series.
