  • Mr Ben

Mr Ben was a children's programme about a gentleman (Mr Ben) who each episode would visit a fancy dress shop. Each visit he tried on a costume and walked through the other door in the changing cubicle, Outside this second door would be a world relating to the costume Mr Ben was wearing

For example he tried on a space suit and ended up on the moon & so on. It's surprising the shop keeper didn't tell Mr Ben to go away & stop wasting his time as Mr Ben tried on all sorts of costumes but never bought anything

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

It was surprised to learn that there were only 13 episodes of the programme.

Seemed a lot when you were younger, especially if you only watched one per week.
Who cared about rules when you were young?

This was also a DVD I picked up a while back for my 2 year old to watch when he's older.

(So far he has Mr Ben, Trapdoor, Button Moon, Sooty and Sweep (with Matthew Corbett), Pingu, Bagpuss)
