Channel 4 1990...their season of 'Chinese Ghost Stories' films I remember very well. I recorded each one and watched them after Christmas was over.

                    Re: Christmas TV

ITV's Christmas Day 1993 schedule was the worst they had ever done, and one can't blame Carlton for that because it fell on a Saturday - Carlton's first Christmas Day was in 1995.

Mind you, the following year things did improve as they had Mary Poppins on straight after the Queen (except Ulster TV, that is), 10 years to the moment that BBC 1 had shown it.

I really miss Christmas Day schedules without soaps.

It's a great website that those listings come from - just looked at it for a first glimpse of Christmas Day TV this day - so far, BBC 1 has Midnight Mass, EastEnders, Strictly, TBA, TBA, and TBA. Think I will wait until the Radio and TV Times come out.
I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
                                I'm having so much fun
                                My lucky number's one
                                Ah! Oh! Ah! Oh!
