The submarine Seaview would have many adventures all the weeks it went out to sea

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

The best episode (IMHO) was 'The Human Computer'.

A spin-off from the film of the same name (different cast)

A very good series. I last saw it when it was shown in the early 90s. One of my favourite episodes was one with Vincent Price as a puppet master who tries to take over Seaview--The Deadly Dolls I think it was called. The flying sub was ace.

I've never seen this but the name Seaview makes me think it's about a guest house with a pre-Blue Peter Yvette Fielding!

Irwin Allen, the master of disaster, great shows.

Cave of the Dead was the creepiest episode. Loads of skeletons!
