Is it Sam Kydd? He was very prolific, though rarely got really big roles.

Tex a hell of a lot of uncredited roles. These people are the hardest to pick. I will go with whatever staffs says. I have seen Sam Kydd in dozens of things.. never knew his name.

Sam Kydd did have at least one starring role. He played Orlando o'Connor in the ITV children's thriller series 'Orlando' in the 60s, which I can just about remember.

In The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, who played Jimmy? Also, what was the name of the company for which Reggie worked.

Was Jimmy that tall bloke whose catchphrase was 'super CJ'? Name eludes me.

                    Sunshine Desserts?

Wasn't there also some company called "Grot"?

Sunshine Desserts was the one. Jimmy was Reggie's brother-in-law and his catchphrase was "A bit of a ****-up on the catering front."

Grot was the company Reggie set up in one of the sequels, and was a chain of shops selling useless tat.

ha ha. I recall that now. Bloke had a cheek ..scrounging off his in laws. Jimmy was played by that fine actor Geoffrey Palmer.

Sequel: You mean a Perrin spin off called GROT?

                              It wasn't a spin-off, it was a later series...
