  • Naughty Carol's

When we were kids most of us went door to door singing carol's at Christmas

There were naughty & amusing versions

At Sunday & normal school's we were asked questions about the religious aspects of Christmas

On the TV series 'Vicar of Dibley' the kids came to the vicarage to sing carols. Dawn French's character Geraldine the vicar asked the kids where was Jesus born

Quick as a flash a kid says "Dunstable"

The character Alice Tinker says she told them as that was what she thought lol

(Dunstable being an English town in the county of Bedfordshire)

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

One thing I noticed was that the "Jingle Bells, Batman smells" song wasn't just sung at Christmas time - and was "why are we waiting" really the same tune as "Oh Come Less Us Adore Him"?

Thankfully, as the main entrance to where I live is communal, we would never get Christmas carolers.

We three kings of Orient are,
One in a taxi, one in a car,
      One on a scooter,
      Blowing his hooter,
      Following yonder star!

While shepherds washed their socks by night,
      All watching ITV,
The angel of the Lord came down
      And switched to BBC!

Time flies like the wind, fruit flies like bananas - go figure!
