No. A bit after that, I think.

Another obscurity. It was on the BBC when I was about 10 (1984-ish).

I recognise the dark-haired actress but even if you told me her name I probs wouldn't know it...

The dark haired one was in a significantly less obscure comedy in the '70s. Looking on IMDb, I see she's still active.

Reckon Clare has stumped us with this one

I'll guess and say Man About The House?

                All right, I'll tell you!

Sharon and Elsie, "is a British sitcom that aired for two seasons from 1984 to 1985. It starred Brigit Forsyth (best known for her role as Thelma Ferris in The Likely Lads/Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?) and Janette Beverley."

I'll let someone else have a go...

Rats! I just had another look and recognised her from The Likely Lads and thought I was going to actually be able to answer this one!

No takers on my two doctors? This is a comedy as opposed to a sitcom.

They look kind of familiar. The one on the left looks a bit like Steve Nallon, the fellow who used to impersonate Mrs Thatcher. I can't guess what the show is.

                            Harry & Paul sketch comedy.

stumped you Clare and Nuggs. Does Harry Enfield still appear on UK tv? Have not seen him here in OZ for years. Post something.

No idea. I haven't warched TV in years, just DVDs.

Well, since we can do sketch shows too, a whole load more possibilities become available!

                                Recognise these people?
