It was in a yellow tube with a stick of liquorice sticking out of the top

You used the liquorice to dab the sherbert to eat

Nowadays you would be arrested by police thinking it was cocaine lol

They are still around, though maybe not as high profile as they used to be.

You seem to have got two sweets mixed up there!

The Sherbet (Dib) Dab was a bag with sherbet in and a lollipop which was used to dunk in the sherbet.

A Sherbet Fountain was the yellow paper tube with the liquorice stick in. I have one right in front of me which I was about to eat! Although these modern ones have replaced the paper packaging with a plastic tubeb with a lid, looks similar though, is made by Barratt. I got it in a bag of "old school" lollies here in Australia, I also have a tube of Drumstick Lollies.

Okay, bad move attempting to eat it in my wife's study at home, it now looks like Daniella Westbrook has sneezed in here!
