    I saw him at Heathrow airport , April 1980 ....we were off on our school trip to Yugoslavia


    oh yeh No 1 on my bday 15th Oct 1965 was (embarrassingly) Ken Dodd's only no.1 hit, 'Tears' (Rolling Stones '...Satisfaction' was prior to it & Stones again 'Get off My Cloud' came after it )

                        I also have looked mine up before, along with World events famous deaths etc. The number 1 recoerd on my birth was 'It really doesn't matter anymore' by Buddy Holly. No1 six weeks after his death in a plane crash. That was number one in UK but I was born in Sicily. The Italian no1 was 'Buona Sera signorina' sung by Adriano Celentano. The Italian charts at the time were 'regional' so this was the biggest seller in the Palermo region of Sicily.
