  • RIP Eric Bristow - Darts Legend Champion

Eric Bristow sadly passed away with a fatal Heart Attack yesterday aged 60 years old

What a true, true Darts legend Eric was indeed I think - Eric just made Darts so popular and trendy like never before and never since

    RIP Eric Bristow

Very sad news. Yes, he was a true champion at a time when there were so many colourful darts players. Another icon we have lost far too soon. RIP Eric Bristow.

I've often wondered how did darts become a sport when it's a pub game

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

I presume because of the skill involved it's counted as a sport.

Quite sad that Bristow's death came so soon after Jim Bowen - after Bowen and Tony Green, Bristow probably made the most appearances on Bullseye!

He was the Steve Davis of darts.

Yes they all made darts popular in the 1980s, along with Jocky Wilson, Sid Waddell & few others.
