    I wonder whether Paul will continue to appear solo on television and in the theatre, or whether he will retire now that Barry has gone. Ernie Wise continued to make sporadic appearances on television after Eric's death, such as being a panellist on What's My Line? until his own health meant that he had to retire as well.

        It's nice that Radio 4's Last Word did a tribute to him on the programme - I was wondering whether he would have been included at all.
