      Thanks Zincubus for the brilliant photographs, i will be considering rhodes as a holiday destination next summer...Anybody else want to share some holiday pix?

        The 'real' beauty of Rhodes Town and Lindos for us is the slower paced lifestyle plus the locals actually 'like' us Brits ..

        The sea is lovely and warm ( and clean ) as well , fabulous beaches especially the extremely child~friendly ones at Lindos

        We also always feel very 'safe' which is so important as a family .
        We've never seen any crime / vandals / etc and no screaming /swearing teenagers or DRUNKS !!

                  Soooo where is 'the' place that has the perfect climate and ecosystem all year round ??

                  Pretty sure its on the equator somewhere??

                        Lovely pictures. The blueness of the ocean looks so mouthwatering. If only our rivers and canals looked as blue as that.

                                Yes the water is that enticing color. Sadly parts of our famous Natural Wonder of the World are suffering from coral bleaching as a result of climate change. World marine scientists are not all that optimistic about the reef's survival.
