Speaking about beautiful places, it's a pity that postcards have been on the decline in recent years - I believe that everything is said about a beautiful place when seen pictured on a postcard.

I recall buying postcards with 1950's /1960's glamour models on them from a shop in Scarborough around 50 years ago

The 'real' beauty of Rhodes Town and Lindos for us is the slower paced lifestyle plus the locals actually 'like' us Brits ..

The sea is lovely and warm ( and clean ) as well , fabulous beaches especially the extremely child~friendly ones at Lindos

We also always feel very 'safe' which is so important as a family .
We've never seen any crime / vandals / etc and no screaming /swearing teenagers or DRUNKS !!
