i'm pretty new to these excellent forums but wondering if anyone remembers steer n'go by match box toys, it was a driving wheel with an attached road that you steered a car with.it was out mid 70's i think

I was gonna post a thread about these but could not remember the name of them.great fun,as the car was free running and would fall off and crash if you did not steer correctly..
Never seen one at a bootsale, which means they were either trashed by the owners or still used..(I'd like to think the latter)
I'd love to have one again

big thanks to the people who posted screenies of this toy, the steering wheel looks like its come from an austin allegro!

matchbox seemed to have a bigger range of toys then i imagined
