      Whatever happened to princess biscuits...?

princess biscuits, they had a sort of grid on them and were in a light blue packet or lincoln biscuits , were bumpy on one side ,in a green packet or royal scot, they were like a shortcake biscuit in a white packet. And chipsticks, havent seen them for ages.

          Re: what happened to ?

They used to pack biscuits differently then, can you remember they used to pile them in rows of four, about six to a row inside a strip of white corigated cardboard

Recall the white card, but only on single rows of biscuits.
            After too many biscuits..

            Remember these Ayds?

they looked like little toffees, but with that name, they had to go

I remember my mum buying those ayds, they came in 2 different flavours. ha ha what a laugh.
What happened to all the crisps we used to have when we were kids like
pickled onion , kp worcester sauce, smiths with a packet of salt, baked bean flavour, golden wonder sausage and tomato, chipmunk oxo, piglets, potato puffs, loved bovril crisps and cant remeber who made tomato crisps, i think it was kp. Also remember they brought out hedgehog flavour

Think KP, Golden wonder, even Smiths were all consumed by Walkers company

                      Re: what happened to ?

The only two Smiths brands left, Chipsticks and Frazzles are made by Walkers.
Golden Wonder went into administration last year and were sold to the Tayto group.
KP are part of the United Biscuits portfolio
                      Walkers own the rest

I remember Yo-yo's, they were made by United biscuits, very simalar to a viscount!! I mainly remember the mint, but there could of been other flavours,I'd long forgotten yo-yo's

                          Found on line-
Well the primary difference between the Viscount and Yo-yo as I'm sure you know is diameter and depth, with the Yo-yo being wider and thiner. Sadly the Yo-yo was discontinued by United Biscuits in 2003, which is why I omitted them. WIth the exception of the Abbey Crunch I wanted the biscuits all to be currently available.

Love Tunnocks Wafer Biscuits. Just recently found a shop near us that sells the coconut ones. Not seen them in years. They are FAB.

Only recognize Banjo, Trio, United, and possibly Royal Scot.
