  • Edgar wallace mystery theatre

Been watching the 60s show "edgar wallace mysteries" for the past week or so on the talking pictures channel, who else remembers this series? The episodes i've seen (maybe four or five) have been most enjoyable with simple stories of murder and robbery that dont leave you scratching your head like so many of todays dramas. The acting is pretty awful however but this adds to the charm of these old black and white shows. Many actors from the period were used in multiple episodes but in different roles.usually shot on the streets of 60s London which i always enjoy

The Shadows theme is what I remember too, and the bust of Edgar Wallace slowly turning.
