    Very much of his time but one of the best of that era, IMHO

    Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

    Another thing is that I can understand why he chose Starr as his stage name, just like Ringo from the Beatles - (his real surname was Fowell, I believe), I have always thought that his stage name was too similar in pronunciation to Fred Astaire - what does other people think about that? Admittedly, I used to confuse both names when I was younger.
    Telling it almost exactly like it was so many years later - and proud of doing so!
