      Never had one myself, but I always assumed that it was alcoholic chocolate or something - a bit like liqueurs that most parents had at Christmas.

              For some reason i thought that Danny in the book "Champion of the World" poached peasants with rum soaked raisins, but it seems they used sleeping powder in them, not sure why i got that mixed up!

                Old Jamaica made a (brief) comeback in (IIRC) the 90s, along with some others. Delishus!!!
