Who knows the very first movie Steven Spielberg made in 1974?

    Clue:

    It wasn't science fiction

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

The only thing that he seemed to have done in 1974 was The Sugarland Express.

    I am probably wrong though.

Duel was originally a telemovie, but later had some scenes added for general release.

Some scenes were regurgitated for an episode of The Incredible Hulk! There were letters!

                  Yes I've heard about that.

Some scenes of the Mini chase from The Italian Job were used in McGuyver!

A car crashing off a cliff in an episode of The Champions was re-used a few times, including an episode of Father Ted.

Technically, his first film was called "Amblin' ". But his first big feature was Sugarland Express.
