    Another thing you don't see anymore are football cards....you pay your 20p and pick a team from a choice of about 50, when all the teams were picked the winning team ( the name of which is hidden under a sticker) is revealed and you would win a couple of quid
    ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE NEXT HALF HOUR.

    I seem to remember my dad winning a few shillings (yes, it was that long ago!) a coupla times but nothing more...

    I have in my mind those Panini football stickers that used to get passed along in the school playground.
    Telling it almost exactly like it was so many years later - and proud of doing so!

    Also we used to look forward to seeing football results on grandstand where we would get excited if there was 8 draw games,then to check the coupon damn it not us lol
