        It's quite an eye opener sometimes when you see how wrong the so called "experts" can be with there valuations, some of them should hang there heads in shame. My favourite expert is Paul laidlaw who is frequently seen on bargain hunt both as an expert and a presenter, his knowledge is wide reaching and his valuations accurate.

            Sometimes these ‘experts’ wax lyrical about a jug or something and rave about the maker and how it’s a fabulous example of such a desirable producer ... then value it at £55

                It’s a free country... the science blokes said the salt levels and additives were at an unbelievably high level and they’d never eat them .. just relaying their comments ..

                            Putting a tangent on my researching family history thread, I was thinking that if I had owned something which would have been the same age as my great-great grandfather and my great-great-great grandfather, they would be antiques as well!
