  • Vague description of a song I heard once ages ago.

Sometime in the '90s, I was listening to Danny Baker's Saturday morning programme on GLR.

He played a song by what sounded like a late '70s, white, male band. Just guessing that!
All I remember of the song are the words "like I dooo, like I dooo".

    Does it ring any bells?

It's ok, I got an answer on Facebook. My description wasn't quite right, but it was definitely the song I keep thinking of.

So, it wasn't late '70s but late '80s apparently, and got lots of airplay in Canada. I wonder why Danny Baker came to be playing it.

It was called "She's So Young", by the Pursuit of Happiness.
