    What TV Progs can you think of that say had run for a few Series or so (and had say 4/5 good episodes in a particular then that series just like this Seasons Football) became lost for forever as the rest of 2said series" was rubbish

    A few that I can think of are;
    * Grange Hill - 1999 Series 21 had an amazing start but obviously that level was'nt sustainable as those first few episodes were pure amazing stuff added to it that the timing (Episode-wise) to kill off Judi Jefferies was probably at the wrong stage in the Series

    *Dream Stuffing - had one great series - then you could argue like a Football Team winning the Chamions leauge potientaly in 2020 not having a chance to defend it - like Luton did'nt in '09 cos they had been Relegated to the Confrence National (National Leauge in Today's currency) with the Johnstone's Paint Trophy or EFL Trophy or whatever currency it weighed in at then!

          A few 1990s Sitcoms ran for too long & the later series were a lot weaker because the writers had run out of ideas. Bread, The Brittas Empire & 2.4 Children are all guilty of this.

            Too true Richard, as was The Upper hand and Watching (which had only a Series or 2 or 3 at the most)!!
