    Re: The wonder years

I remember watching this on a sunday not one of my faves, but somebody did tell me that the boy in the glasses grew up to be Marilyn Manson.

Has anybody else heard this? Could it be true?

It is a very popular urban myth, but unfortunately not true, Marilyn Mansons real name is Brian Warner, guy from the Wonder Years is Josh Saviano.

just a great show of the ups and downs of a klids childhood.

Thought it odd thought as it was kevin narrating it the things that went on was from his point of view.

I loved The Wonder Years - used to have a real crush on Kevin (Fred Savage) after seeing him in the film Vice Versa.

one of the very few U.S shows i ever liked.

it ran from 31st of january 1988 to 1993.
                        115 eps in all.

it was narrated by daniel stern.

theme song a little help from my friends was performed by joe cocker an english blues and rock singer.

                          Re: The wonder years

It seemed to be on Sunday night on Channel 4 for years.

The DVD release had to have a lot of songs changed due to rights issues.

yeah very true regarding it being on channel 4 on sunday nights.

why has it to have changes to a lot of songs.
                            will theme tune be changed.

I think the music being changed is to do with having to clear all the songs for use on DVD, which can be expensive even for a few seconds use.

I'm guessing the main theme was worth paying for.

The Daria DVD set had to have most of the music changed for the same reasons.
