    I was a child growing up in the 1960s,things we remember about that era.
    The first mini skirt was seen on Brighton beach the summer of 1964

            There were a lot of history-making events happening in the 1960s - Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon in 1969; Yuri Gagarin setting foot in space in 1961 (and sadly killed in a plane crash in 1968); as well as Telstar in 1962.

            No coincidence that Tomorrow's World started in that decade as well.
